Vietnam: Global education dialogues – Invitation for participation

The British Council is honoured to announce the Policy Dialogue:Employability skills in Southeast Asia and the needs for the new economy: The challenge for higher education.

The Dialogue will be co-organised by the British Council, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and Aston University - one of the universities in the UK with the strongest track record in graduate employment.

This will be the first in a series of six East Asia policy dialogues which will be held in Vietnam, Australia, Malaysia, China, Singapore and Japan which aim at informing and strengthening policies and practice, bringing benefits at both a national and regional level around the opportunities and challenges in Higher Education for 21st century. These dialogues also play a critical role in establishing long term trust and sustained partnerships between Higher Education institutions and business/ industries worldwide.

  • Aston University: Green paper on Employability and Higher Education, What, Why and How: “New Economic Thinking Needs New Educational Thinking”

Representatives from education and business sectors from UK, Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Language

The Dialogue will be conducted in English with simultaneous interpretation.
