The pre-departure briefing is annually organised in order to provide students and their parents with necessary information for studying and living in the UK. The programme consists of the briefing by British Council, visa update and briefing by UKBA, and financial advice by the local bank. The event is to ensure the great experience of students when they come to the UK. Furthermore, students will have an opportunity to meet with their university alumni to get the in-depth information of the university.

UK institutions are encouraged to invite their offer holders to participate in this event. Additionally, UK institutions that choose to sponsor the event will have their logos displayed on the main stage as well as the opportunity to conduct an individual briefing session with their students.
