Study UK Festival

May and June is the time of the year when students in India are taking their final decision on where they would like to study. Most of them would have received an offer letter and would be working with university country representatives and agents to take the final call. The Study UK Festival is designed to complement the numerous exhibitions and workshops being held around the country at this time of the year and to give prospective students the reason to choose your university and the UK as their preferred study destination.

The decision of where students would like to study is influenced by the positive image of the country, a feeling that it is warm and welcoming and that they have a friend there already. Parents play a key role in the decision-making process where the safety, accessibility, culture and hospitability of the potential destination are important factors to consider. To help students and parents get a feel of the international student community they will be joining, the British Council Delhi is organising a Study UK Festival at the British Council premises.

The programme will bring together UK education ambassadors, star alumni of participating universities, prospective students and country representatives together in an engaging, interactive evening designed to ensure all participants leave with a positive perception of the UK, and specifically of the University they are considering.

The event will begin with a cultural performance, structured interaction facilitation by professional group interaction facilitator and an alumni ‘Show and Tell’ session for every participating university to showcase their USPs.
