The British Council wishes to commission research that will provide a strong understanding of the current state of higher education cooperation between the UK and Australia, as well as to examine the potential for increased collaboration between the UK and Australian higher education systems and between higher education institutions in both countries. This research should cover both bilateral UK-Australia cooperation and multilateral partnerships that involve partners or activities in third countries. The outputs of this research will support the British Council and other stakeholders in drawing up recommendations for interventions and forward-looking policies that will support the UK education sector in working together with Australian partners for mutual benefit.
