Opportunity for a UK institution to develop a joint institute with Sichuan Film & Television University

SFTU is looking for UK partners to develop a joint institute (without legal entity) in the subject areas of Film & Television Production, Digital Media and Culture Industry Management, with joint 3+1 / 4+0 bachelor degree programmes. Benefits for UK institutions

  • The joint institute will aim to enrol 60 students per year, and will provide a platform for further collaboration in teacher training, curriculum development, student exchange and joint research for both universities.

Areas of responsibilities for the two collaborating parties:

UK partner

The UK partner will be expected to develop joint curricula for the courses, support the enrolled students in English language leaning and professional courses, provide staff to teach parts of the curriculum and support in the quality assurance of the joint institute and participate in administrative management of the joint institute.

Sichuan Film & Television University

SFTU will be responsible for gaining approval for the joint institute from the Ministry of Education, recruiting students for the programmes, providing qualified teaching staff as well as the required teaching premises and logistical support, and supporting the quality assurance of the joint institute.
