Europe and education: Stay connected during Covid-19

The British Council in Europe is running a series to support UK higher education institutions in better understanding how the Covid-19 pandemic is affecting students in Europe - their education, and their study abroad intentions and prospects.

We aim to keep good communication going between UK and EU higher education sectors so that students continue to benefit from a UK education, whatever the circumstances. While the Covid-19 pandemic is causing enormous hardship, we have always believed as the British Council that education and culture connect us. In the face of a truly global challenge, this is more important than ever. 

We focus on ten priority European countries for UK HE institutions, where we have staff who specialise in higher education, student mobility and UK student recruitment: Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Poland, Romania and Spain. Our series includes (click to find out more):
