British Council Hong Kong - SPARK festival: The Impact of STEAM on Transnational Education (TNE) and academic partnerships

You are invited to join the following British Council Hong Kong SPARK online festival panel discussion sessions on a celebration of transnational education (TNE), and on how academic partnerships could help drive institutions’ innovation, research to create business and economic growth. 

 

From 20-23 October 2021, the British Council in Hong Kong is hosting the SPARK festival - a series of online events across art, music, dance, education, and much more. Celebrating connections and inclusion in our communities, SPARK offers a platform for cultural exchange between Hong Kong and the UK. Panel discussion on the international STEAM agenda - good things come to those who collaborate

Join representatives from the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment, the Faculty of Arts Design and Media at Birmingham City University (BCU) and invited guests from Continuing Professional Education Centre (CPE, Hong Kong) to discuss the exciting opportunities that are possible through the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) agenda. Through BCU’s STEAMhouse, based in the UK, an innovation centre aimed at encouraging collaboration across STEAM, learn more on how the centre helped drive innovation and research to create business and economic growth.

Hosted by academics from the Faculty of Arts, Design and Media at Birmingham City University (BCU), with invited guests from the UK and HK including alumni and industry practitioners.
