In Celebration of 30 years of the British Council operates in Vietnam and 50 years diplomat relations between Vietnam and the UK, the British Council Alumni UK in Vietnam are delighted to organise the Vietnam Alumni UK Networking Activities consisted of the following events:

1. Launching the Alumni UK in Vietnam Challenge fund 2023, 2 February 2023
The Challenge Fund is designed to engage Alumni UK in Vietnam with communities to create impact in specific sectors. They will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas and solutions for maintaining of a sustainable Alumni UK network in Vietnam. Their activities will be shared on the Alumni UK platform. The winner of the Alumni UK in Vietnam Challenge Fund will be announced at the Alumni UK Gala Dinner on the evening of 10 March 2023.

2. UK Alumni professional talk at 18.00 – 20.00 on 3 March 2023
This is an opportunity to enable alumni UK from different parts of the country and fresh graduates who are still in the UK to share cultural, economic, developmental, and organisational insights that impact our world today build greater connectivity through professional networking and knowledge sharing.
This activity will be organised both virtually and face to face in Hanoi.

3. Alumni UK Gathering Events
- 18.00 – 21.00 on 10 March 2023 in Hanoi
- 18.30 – 21.30 on 17 March 2023 in Ho Chi Minh city
- 15.30 – 18.00 on 25 March 2023 in Da Nang

This event is open to rebuild engagement with the UK alumni networks in Vietnam as well as connection with UK HEIs, after more than three years of having no F2F engagement. In the event, we will also announce the winners of Vietnam for the Alumni Awards 2022-23 programme and Alumni UK Vietnam Challenge fund 2023.

All Vietnamese Alumni UK from any UK university, on any course, in any year are encouraged to join the above activities. They need to have spent at least one term at a UK higher education institution enrolled on a credit-bearing course. This includes transnational or online education.
