Certificate Ceremony for Education UK Agents Certificate – Lahore and Karachi, Pakistan

The eight week long Education UK Certificate for Agents training concluded in July 2014 . A total of 70 agents from across Pakistan registered for the training this year.

Certificate ceremonies were held in British Council Karachi and Lahore offices in August to recognise successful candidates. All successful candidates for 2014 and previous years appear on Global Agents List (GAL).

The training programme structure is developed to enable participants understand UK education effectively and provides high quality information, resources and services to potential students. The course assists candidates to supplement their existing skills to source information and how to regularly update their knowledge.

Graduation Ceremony

SIEM Pakistan is organising a Graduation Ceremony in collaboration with HE and the British Alumni Association of Pakistan to recognize and facilitate the UK alumni who were unable to attend their graduation ceremony in the UK. The details of the event will soon be uploaded on the SIEM website.

Industrial Visit 2015

This will be a pilot project for SIEM Pakistan - taking a sector specific group of corporates to the UK. The aim of this project is to develop trade ties between UK & Pakistan and provide opportunities to Pakistani students studying in the UK for jobs back in Pakistan. Students will get a direct insight into the job market of Pakistan and will benefit from the networking between Pakistan corporates and career advisors in the UK.
