Ministry of Education will not drop key projects
China’s Ministry of Education has issued a statement denying rumours that it will abolish Projects 211 and 985, which are both aimed at improving the quality of higher education and raising research standards at key national universities and colleges. In the statement, the Ministry of Education explained that the projects have been effective at improving the overall quality of higher education in China and that they will not be dropped.
