List of Colombian Universities scrutinized by the Ministry of Education

'Universities' closed by order of the Ministry of Education in Colombia have quickly reopened in the same facilities with a different name, and some academic programs with hundreds of students enrolled are unlicensed. To choose a local university in Colombia as a partner it is important to remember that most renowned universities coexist with others of low quality that may not even be legal.

Currently there are 32 local universities that are being investigating by the Ministry of Education, including Universidad San Martín, la Gran Colombia, la Católica y la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas.
