IB Results 2021: 130 out 1,155 top scorers are from Hong Kong

A staggering number of 130 IB students from Hong Kong attained the full marks (45 points) according to local news reports. The figure is nearly four times higher than the total number of HK top scorers in 2020. This year, despite there were fewer candidates taking the exam - decreasing from 2,324 to 2,193, HK students still achieved an average score of 38.94 points, which outperformed their peers in the world by 5.92 points. HK continues to be one of the main sources of IB high achievers globally.
