EU country learning sessions for colleagues at international offices: GREECE

The British Council EU Higher Education team invites representatives from UK higher education institution international offices to attend the EU country learning sessions webinar on Greece. The session is designed to support international offices with their recruitment activity by giving insight into the Greek landscape.

It is part of a series in which each webinar focuses on a different EU country. Sessions are brought to you by British Council colleagues on the ground across Europe.

The series continues with Greece on Wednesday 15 February, 14:00 - 15:00 UK time.

The session will be presented by the British Council’s Head of Education in Greece, Maria Tsakali and, Education Manager, Higher Education Partnerships, Katerina Fegarou

It will cover the following topics:

 Short introduction to the country and British Council's work in Greece
 Overview of the education system in Greece
 Reactions to the UK’s exit from the EU
 Mobility trends
 Competition from other destinations
 Greece as a destination for overseas students
 Insights from school counsellors and agents
 Sector engagement opportunities

There will also be time to answer any questions.
