As we enter the crucial months of the 2018/2019 recruitment cycle, data from HESA and the Home Office are just now giving us a snapshot of what happened to UK international student recruitment in the past two years. While these figures may often seem hopelessly out of date, many of the trends behind the numbers are still relevant to our work in the coming months.

UK boarding schools and colleges are invited to participate in the British Council Marketing Mission in October 2018 to support their partnership and recruitment work in China. The mission has been timed to coincide with other countries related marketing activities in East Asia, including the Hong Kong exhibition, to allow schools and colleges to maximise their time in market.

The British Council will be participating in the EU Study in Europe Fair in Johannesburg on 17th and 18th May. The two day event will attract undergraduate and postgraduate students and will include a two day manned exhibition stand by British Council officials, digital display opportunities around the campus, as well as a presentation led by British Council’s Country Director, Colm McGivern.
